Always Growing
Our program is constantly growing as we implement new ideas.
On a yearly basis we have visits from Alberta Children’s Services, the City of Calgary Fire Department and Health and Safety. Our Licensing Officer visits each Preschool twice a year and reviews child care procedures to ensure all rules and regulations are followed. The Fire Department visits the facility and inspects our fire safety procedures, also reviewing the fire drills performed by each class monthly. The Health and Safety Inspector reviews the Preschool every year and ensures we are following all cleaning and sanitizing procedures as required, also ensuring all safety standards are met. Our teachers are all qualified Early Childhood educators who attend educational seminars and conferences whenever possible. We have an open door policy and encourage parents, teachers and inspectors to provide ideas and suggestions to help make Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool the most enjoyable learning experience and environment for every child.

Proud Partnership
Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool has partnered with G.R.I.T. Calgary Society in our classrooms. Through the assistance of their Educational Consultants, Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Assistants and Developmental Specialists we are able to provide support in the classroom to those children that have qualified for Program Unit Funding (P.U.F) through Alberta Education. These children will receive extra support to help them reach their full potential and developmental milestones while targeting each child's unique developmental needs. Who is G.R.I.T. Calgary Society? G.R.I.T. Calgary Society is a registered non-profit charitable organization proudly serving the Calgary area for over 25 years. They are dedicated to providing home and community-based education programs for children with special needs. Through the funding from Alberta Education, G.R.I.T. Calgary Society is able to provide a team of experienced professionals to work in collaboration with parents and teachers to provide an effective and dynamic education experience for your child. What our partnership means? A Speech Language Assistant full-time in our classrooms! The Speech Language Assistant implements programming for those children assessed and who qualify for Program Unit Funding (PUF). In addition, the Speech Language Assistant assists in observing children in the classroom to bring forward any concerns noted to our Teachers regarding any child who may benefit and qualify for extra support.
