Always Growing
Our program is constantly growing as we implement new ideas.
On a yearly basis we have visits from Alberta Children’s Services, the City of Calgary Fire Department and Health and Safety. Our Licensing Officer visits each Preschool twice a year and reviews child care procedures to ensure all rules and regulations are followed. The Fire Department visits the facility and inspects our fire safety procedures, also reviewing the fire drills performed by each class monthly. The Health and Safety Inspector reviews the Preschool every year and ensures we are following all cleaning and sanitizing procedures as required, also ensuring all safety standards are met. Our teachers are all qualified Early Childhood educators who attend educational seminars and conferences whenever possible. We have an open door policy and encourage parents, teachers and inspectors to provide ideas and suggestions to help make Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool the most enjoyable learning experience and environment for every child.

Proud Partnership
Kaleidoscope Kids Preschool have partnered with G.R.I.T. Calgary Society to provide extra support in our classrooms to ensure our children receive the extra support they require to help them achieve their full potential and developmental milestones in Speech and Language development.
Who is G.R.I.T. Calgary Society? G.R.I.T. Calgary Society is a registered non-profit charitable organization proudly serving Calgary and surrounding areas for over 28 years. They provide community-based individualized education programs for children 2.8 – 6 years of age who qualify for Program Unit Funding through Alberta Education. Through this grant, G.R.I.T. Calgary Society can provide a team of experienced professionals to work in collaboration with parents and teachers to provide an effective and dynamic education experience for your child. What our partnership means? This means that we will have a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, fulltime, in the classroom for those children who require extra support with their speech and language needs. The Speech Language Pathologist Assistant would work closely with the Speech Language Pathologist to implement strategies and goals for those children who qualify for this extra support. In addition, a Certificated teacher would be overseeing each child’s program and program needs. If you have any questions or concerns related to your child’s speech and language needs, please do not hesitate to contact Paula Carby, Executive Director, at 403-215-2444 ext. 223.
